Fostering

We often do not have enough room to house all the dogs and cats waiting for their "forever home". If you have room in your heart and home to foster one of the animals, please contact us. The Shelter will provide the food and cover any cost for veterinary expenses. Contact us for more information on how you can foster a pet.

Dog Training Information

Honey

Before adopting an animal into your family, please take some time to get to know the unique personality of your choice before making this commitment. Listen to the valuable information that the shelter staff are able to share with you. These simple steps could possibly save another animal from having to suffer for our mistakes.

Honey was a boisterous, loving little girl led into a world of hurt and intolerance. Honey spent several months of her life at the shelter, happy carefree, relentlessly waiting her chance at a normal life. She was eventually adopted by a family and then returned to the shelter within three weeks after having allegedly nipped one of them.

Honey, sadly was euthanized on September 18, 2001.

Candle for HoneyAs the song goes...

"Your candle burned out long before your legend ever will"

Honey will remain in all of our hearts as an example of what happens when things go terribly wrong.
