Dog Walking

Come on out and get some fresh air and exercise and help out the Shelter dogs all at the same time! Walking a dog at the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter is a fabulous way to help out both your community and your local Shelter. Although our residents are rotated through the dog yard throughout the day; they are in their kennels the majority of the time. They love nothing more than to get out and stretch their legs and get some air. Getting out and walking on a leash socializes the dogs; teaching them manners and preparing them for their forever homes. If you love dogs and walking but are unable to have one at home or just want to help out, please come on down to the Shelter today.

Dog walkers must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by someone 16 or over.  The dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times.
