Another great way to help the Shelter is by donating your recycling. Bring your recyclable containers and bottles to Raven Recycling and they will sort them for you. Just ask them to donate your refund to the “Mae Bachur Animal Shelter” Save the environment and help the animals at the same time!
Collect Your Grocery Receipts
Save your receipts from Extra Foods and Super A. Bring your receipts in to us at the Shelter; for every $5,000 worth of receipts, the Shelter receives a voucher for $20. Another great way to help us take care of our four-legged friends until they find their forever homes.
Plastic grocery bags
There’s a use for everything! Bring us your used plastic grocery bags; we’ll give them a second life and put them to good use for kennel clean up.
