Bones

BonesI used to be at the shelter almost two years ago. I got adopted to a family in Watson Lake, but we have moved back to Whitehorse now. When I first arrived at the shelter I was very skinny, that's how I got my name I was skin and bones! When my family adopted me I was very fat and the shelter had put me on a diet. I would eat and eat and eat all day long and if my dish was empty I would cry.

BonesWell I don't have a weight problem anymore and I don't eat all day long but I still cry if my food dish is empty. It is important to me that there is always food in my dish even if I am not hungry right then. The first months that my family had me I didn't know they wanted to keep me forever! I would take off on my own, once I was gone for nearly two months! But now I realize that they are my family and I stay home all the time. So much for getting the kids a cat, unfortunately for the kids I have decided that I am Mama's cat. I follow Mama around the house, sit with her wherever she is and sleep with her at night. Thank you to everyone at the shelter for looking after me until my family found me.

Sincerely, Bones
