Dextra (Tess)

I adopted Dextra about a year ago from the shelter. Her name is now Tess and she is exactly the type of cat I was looking for, in terms of personality. She is quite affectionate, gentle and loves to cuddle. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up on my lap and have her belly scratched. I had this empty cardboard box around the house that she has claimed as her own and will sit in it for hours just watching me or have a nap. I would like to have a second cat as a companion for her, however, she has demonstrated that she is a "one cat per household" type. Never-the-less I am very, very happy with having her around.
