Update from Sue
Hi - just thought I'd let you know that these two (now named Pudding and Custard) are adapting well to life with me and my condo - they now pretty much own the place.
When they arrived, headed straight (how do they know?) for the most inaccessible spot behind washer and dryer and stayed there until I went to bed, when they promptly came out and played - I'm sure all night. It took a couple of days before they'd come near me very much, but they were doing everything else they're supposed to do right away.
It's been just over two weeks now, and they've settled right in, and will not even retreat when I have visitors now. They play, sleep and chase around together very well and seem quite affectionate to each other most of the time. Custer will often come looking for petting and scratching, but Puddles is pretty coy so far, though occasionally she'll permit a stroke or a scritch or two.
I'm delighted with their company and wanted to thank you for looking after them until I showed up looking for cat-friends.
