Zephorah

ZephorahWe adopted Zeporah (as she was known in the shelter) almost a year ago now. She has given us much love and attention . Although she is at times a multi-personality, she loves her new home and we send a thank you to the family that couldn't care for her anymore. It is that family's loss and our gain. We adore Zephy (we had to shorten her name) but seems she just will not respond to Zephy but sure will if you call her Ki-Ki(as you know all cats have 3 names). Ki-Ki must be her secret name. She took a week to adjust to us and her home and it seemed for a bit she missed the other cats/kittens at the shelter as she went around looking and crying for something we couldn't provide. She lives in a quiet home now and after I injured myself and was confined to a wheelchair , she then became a lap cat something she didn't do before . She has to think she is a baby at times as she will crawl in my lap and let me cradle her in my arms as you would a baby. She has finally found her home. I just wished we could have taken her sibling but at the time we couldn't so we hope her sibling found a good home too. I have made Zephy's own web page to show the beauty of my Zephy and my love for her .This is her webpage http://www.geocities.com/majas_1999//MajasCat.html. I am enclosing a picture of this great lady to show her off to all. We are so proud of her. I hope all Yukoners and anyone wanting to adopt some wonderful animals will visit the Mae Bachur Animal Shelter.
