Buddy (Bruno)

Buddy (Bruno) is doing very well here in Old Crow. He loves the snow...and he loves diving onto the ice and sliding across it on his belly - with his nose leading the way!!! Its quite a sight. He loves to roll in the snow too, and to go for endless walks/runs on the river trails.

I'm very proud of him and how far he's come with regard to obeying my requests and staying close to me when he's off leash. I can let him go outside on his own, and he sits and waits (beside his little igloo)...until I come and put the chain on. If he has to go out late at night, he quickly does his business and comes right back without being called.

I was away for a couple of weeks over Christmas, and a friend came to house sit. He said that Buddy was very well-behaved and that they had fun playing and going for daily hikes. (Buddy seems even more playful now...probably because guys tend to play a bit rougher!)... ............

I was trying to get a picture of Buddy in the snow, to send to you...but he doesn't seem to want to cooperate...so, the picture I've attached is from early October...and its one of my favourites.
